Well it ain't no secret that my time at Wasson High was difficult but rewarding. I spent my last days at Wasson cleaning out an office that in August: I painted myself (4 dang coats!), hauled in any furniture I could scavenge and decorated, all in hope that it would feel like my safe space when my coworkers where hating on me. HA! Over all it did turn out to be a nice cozy space.
I spent Friday May 27th saying goodbye to staff and students and celebrating the hopes of a brighter future!
And despite all the tears, frustrations and mistakes I made over the course of 9 months, I will always love Wasson for teaching me the value of supportive and friendly coworkers, and for giving me one of my very best friends, Jarrett. Thanks Wasson, Peace Out!

ReplyDeleteI know it was a difficult year and Wasson will be "less" for having lost you and Jarrett. But I'm so glad you found each other. Jobs come and go.... good, true friendships last forever. So glad you have that!
