What What!!! Heck yes!!
So last night CC and I went to a concert in Boulder at the Fox Theater. We saw Missy Higgins, an amazing Australian singer-song writer and Joshua Radin (also amazing- not to mention sexy). Seeing Missy live was something I told myself I would do if she ever performed in Co and this was her 4th time here --- but my first time being able to go. Her music is so inspiring and true to the soul that when I was going through some really rough times a couple years ago - her music really made me feel better and stronger and when I needed it to it broke me down enough to cry. >>> Music is an amazing thing. <<< Her songs have lyrics about taking back control of your life, and being yourself instead of fitting into a mold someone else made for you, and also about forgiveness. Needless to say her music means a lot to me just as a fan. And I was so excited to hear her live. Check one off my list of things to do before this life ends!
Amazingly shes actually better live than on CD!!! It was so energizing. CC and I were right at the front of the stage leaning on it the whole time dancing and singing along haha it was great. I took a TON of pictures and I recorded some video which I you-tubed. Although I turned the camera off when the band chimed in cause I wanted to sing and jam with everyone. so they are just clips of the beginnings of the songs!!
