BIshops Castle

So a couple weeks ago we took a 2 hour drive down to Bishops Castle near Beulah. In case you don't know what it is, its a structure completely built by 1 (crazy) man. its rickety and not finished. the old guy has been working on it for like 40 years or something crazy and he still works on it everyday. its not even close to finished. you can climb the poorly constructed towers (which have a long drop and no railings lol) and read all the political signs he has everywhere while your there. I have to admit i was scared to climb some of those steps. they didn't seem safe. Sora was scared to as we carried him up really high.

After wards we went to San Isabel lake to take a walk around it. Unfortunately we left everything in the car so i have no pictures of that. Sora loved the lake. He got in it and splashed around and freaked out when he went to far and quickly paddled back to shore. Hilarious. he was so excited. wish i had picture or video of that! oh well next time maybe.
