So, I have been applying like mad to any school counselor position that opens in C Springs. Job hunting really really really stinks!!! I'll really miss the kids at Wasson. They have been leaving me notes and letters saying how they wish I could stay. They keep breaking my heart telling me how I'm the only counselor they've ever been able to talk to and whom they felt would help them. It is definitely hard to say goodbye...
I haven't been able to devote the time to planning Joe and my wedding that I need to and we've only got a month and a couple weeks left /sigh. And I am fairly certain that soon this will be me:
But on May 27th I will say, "Goodbye" to Wasson and hopefully soon say, "Hello" to a new job.
Joe had a bike already and we thought it would be fun if I started riding with him. We went for a short ride today for the first time. It was HARD. LET ME TELL YOU! I was complaining the whole time "...my legs hurt..." "The seat hurts my butt" and "I can't go further, I'm not gonna make it!" lol but we made it home and shockingly I didn't die. Can't wait till it gets easier... lol
I was supposed to begin writing papers and keeping a log of mentor discussions way back in August. Now... if you know me, you know I thought to myself, "This is EAAAASY! I'll do it later.. maybe last minute even" Well this binder of 8 months of work was due on April 20th. and I began working on it March... 28th?? yup! It was easy just.. time consuming... I wonder why?????..... But needless to say 10 papers and 8 months worth of discussion logs later... I Passed! I applied for my "Professional Special Services license" last week and I can't wait to get it!

- Colleen's High School graduation May 29th!!
- A weekend in Breckenridge June 3rd
- The Bachelorette party on June 11th
