Joe and I spent Day 2 and 3 of our time in Rome seeing the sights.
We bought tour bus tickets, [which turned out to be pointless once we realized we could walk from one side of Rome to the other in 40 minutes!] We went to the Colosseum, Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, and window shopping. Ya I said Window! We didn't buy anything other than 1 bracelet and a bathing suit! haha
Our days consisted of getting up and seeing the sites, then eating lunch and taking a 3 hour nap Oh jet lag... how we loved you .... sigh..., only to go back outside for dinner once it is was dark!
We took a guided tour of the Colosseum, and learned so much about how the gladiators fought, and why and who decided if they lived or died. It was fantastic! Thumbs up!

Right???
Right???
And one of our favorite places in Rome was the Trevi Fountain. The legendary place to make a wish and find true love. (Well we already had the love part taken care of, but we still made wishes). The water the beautiful, it was the cleanest place in the entire city, despite being built before, 1762! But don't get to excited, we found out the fountain was 'refurbished' in 1998. dern!
Tomorrow... the journey, adventure to Tuscany, San Gimigiano!
